{"product_id":"samsung-s85h-oled-4k-vision-ai-smart-tv-new-2026-model","title":"Samsung S85H OLED 4K Vision AI Smart TV | New 2026 Model","description":"Samsung S85H OLED 4K Vision AI Smart TV Price in Kenya \u0026amp; Full Review The Samsung S85H OLED 4K Vision AI Smart TV price in Kenya ranges between KSh 230,000 – KSh 500,000Price range: KSh 230,000 through KSh 500,000 . It is a 2026 Samsung OLED television designed to combine self-emissive picture quality with AI-powered image processing, advanced gaming features and the company’s latest One UI Tizen smart TV platform. It uses Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor to process images and enhance compatible content through features such as 4K AI Upscaling, AI Picture optimization and Auto HDR Remastering. Unlike LED and QLED televisions that use a separate backlight, OLED pixels can illuminate individually. This allows the S85H to produce very deep blacks and precise contrast, making it particularly suitable for movies, streaming and gaming in controlled lighting environments. The S85H also targets gamers with 120Hz VRR, 4K 120Hz connectivity, FreeSync Premium, G-SYNC, ALLM and Samsung’s Gaming Hub. OLED 4K Picture Quality The S85H combines a 3840 × 2160 4K resolution with OLED technology. Because each OLED pixel can be controlled independently, dark portions of an image can be rendered without the conventional backlight used by LCD-based TVs. This produces strong contrast between bright and dark areas and makes the television particularly effective for movies and high-quality streaming content. Samsung also equips the S85H with Ultra Viewing Angle technology to help maintain picture quality when watching from different positions. NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor At the heart of the S85H is Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor. The processor analyzes picture content and applies AI-based processing to improve the viewing experience. Its processing system supports features including 4K AI Upscaling, AI Optimized Picture, AI Customization, HDR Brightness Optimizer and Auto HDR Remastering. This is particularly useful when watching content that was not originally produced in native 4K. 4K AI Upscaling Not everything you watch will be supplied in native 4K. Samsung’s 4K AI Upscaling processes compatible lower-resolution content and enhances it for presentation on the 4K panel. The result is designed to produce cleaner details and a sharper-looking image, although the final result depends on the quality and resolution of the original source. OLED HDR and HDR10+ The S85H supports OLED HDR together with HDR10+. HDR expands the range of brightness and contrast available to compatible content, allowing supported movies and games to display more detail across bright and dark areas. Samsung lists HDR10+ support in Adaptive, Gaming and Advanced modes. The television also includes an HDR Brightness Optimizer and Auto HDR Remastering to help process compatible content. Colour Booster Pro Colour Booster Pro is Samsung’s colour-processing technology for the S85H. It is designed to enhance the expression of colours while maintaining the television’s overall picture processing. Combined with OLED’s pixel-level light control, the system is designed to deliver strong colour separation and contrast in movies, sports and games. 120Hz Gaming and VRR The S85H is also designed for high-performance gaming. Samsung specifies 120Hz VRR, while its HDMI connections support 4K at up to 120Hz. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) helps synchronize the TV’s refresh rate with compatible gaming hardware, reducing screen tearing and helping produce smoother gameplay. The S85H also supports FreeSync Premium, G-SYNC, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Game Motion Plus, Dynamic Black EQ, HGiG, Game Bar and Samsung Gaming Hub. Motion Xcelerator 120Hz Motion Xcelerator 120Hz is Samsung’s motion technology for improving the clarity of fast-moving content. It is useful for sports, action movies and gaming where rapid movement can otherwise appear less smooth. Filmmaker Mode The S85H includes Filmmaker Mode, which is designed to preserve the intended cinematic characteristics of compatible content by minimizing certain forms of automatic picture processing. Dolby Atmos and OTS Lite Sound The S85H features a 2-channel 20W audio system with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite (OTS Lite). Samsung’s OTS technology is designed to help audio correspond more closely with movement on screen. The TV also supports Adaptive Sound Pro, Active Voice Amplifier Pro and AI Sound Controller, which use Samsung’s processing technologies to optimize audio for different viewing situations. Q-Symphony With Samsung Q-Symphony, the TV speakers can work together with a compatible Samsung soundbar rather than forcing the television speakers to be completely disabled. This can create a larger and more immersive soundstage when the television is paired with a compatible Samsung audio system. One UI Tizen Smart TV The S85H runs Samsung’s One UI Tizen smart TV platform. It provides access to streaming services, apps, Samsung TV Plus and connected-device features. Samsung also states that One UI Tizen televisions receive new TV experiences and software updates for up to seven years, helping extend the useful life of the television. Samsung Vision AI The S85H incorporates Samsung’s Vision AI experience on supported markets. Vision AI features are designed to use intelligent processing to make the TV more responsive to the content being watched and the user’s needs. Availability of individual AI services, voice features and applications can vary by country, language and region, so buyers in Kenya should confirm which specific services are enabled on their regional model. Smart Connectivity The S85H provides four HDMI ports, including support for high-frame-rate 4K video. It also features two USB-A ports, Ethernet, optical digital audio output, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Its connectivity makes it suitable for a home entertainment setup involving gaming consoles, streaming devices, soundbars, computers and other compatible peripherals. Wi-Fi 6E Wi-Fi 6E provides access to the 6GHz Wi-Fi band on compatible networks and devices, in addition to the conventional 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. This can provide additional wireless capacity where compatible networking equipment is available. Actual performance depends on the home network, router, internet connection and connected devices. Anti-Reflection Screen The S85H features an anti-reflection display designed to reduce distracting reflections from surrounding light sources. This can make the screen easier to view in rooms with windows or artificial lighting.
