It is a premium rugged smartwatch designed for users who want advanced fitness tracking, outdoor navigation and long battery life without sacrificing durability. It combines a military-grade design with a Grade 5 titanium bezel and buttons, sapphire glass, 3,000-nit AMOLED display, dual-band GPS and 10 ATM water resistance. Unlike the standard T-Rex 3, the Pro model adds several premium features, including sapphire glass, titanium hardware, a built-in two-color flashlight, a speaker for Bluetooth calls, offline maps and more advanced navigation. It is available in two sizes: 48mm for users who want a larger display and battery, and 44mm for those who prefer a more compact watch. The T-Rex 3 Pro is particularly suited to hiking, running, rucking, cycling, swimming, recreational diving, strength training and other outdoor activities. Amazfit rates it for up to 25 days of typical use in the 48mm version and up to 17 days in the 44mm version.. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Design and Build The T-Rex 3 Pro combines a reinforced polymer case with a Grade 5 titanium bezel and buttons. Titanium provides a strong and corrosion-resistant exterior while keeping the watch relatively light for its size. The 48mm version measures 48 × 48 × 14mm and weighs approximately 52g without the strap. The smaller 44mm version measures 44.8 × 44.8 × 13.2mm and weighs approximately 46.8g without the strap. Both versions have four physical buttons, making the watch easier to operate during exercise or in conditions where using the touchscreen may be inconvenient. The 48mm model uses a 22mm quick-release strap, while the 44mm model uses a 20mm quick-release strap. The supplied silicone straps are designed for wrists measuring approximately 145–210mm on the 48mm model and 140–205mm on the 44mm model. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Display The T-Rex 3 Pro uses a bright AMOLED display protected by sapphire glass. This is a significant upgrade for durability because sapphire is highly resistant to scratches and is particularly useful on a smartwatch designed for outdoor activities. The 48mm model has a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480 × 480 resolution and 322 ppi. The 44mm version has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 resolution and 353 ppi. Both models can reach 3,000 nits peak brightness, allowing maps, workout statistics and notifications to remain highly visible under strong outdoor lighting. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Health and Fitness Tracking The T-Rex 3 Pro uses the BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor with a 5PD + 2LED configuration to monitor a wide range of health and fitness metrics. It tracks information such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress-related metrics and other health indicators. The watch also includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometric altimeter, ambient light sensor and temperature sensor. For fitness enthusiasts, the watch provides performance measurements including VO₂ Max, training load, training effect and recovery-related metrics. This makes it more suitable for structured training than a smartwatch focused mainly on notifications and basic activity tracking. Zepp Coach Zepp Coach uses AI-generated training programs to help users prepare for running events and other fitness goals. It can create personalised plans for distances including 5K, 10K, half-marathon and marathon training. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Sports Modes The T-Rex 3 Pro supports 187 sports modes, covering a broad range of indoor and outdoor activities. These include running, walking, cycling, swimming, hiking, strength training, rucking, recreational diving and more. It also supports recognition of selected strength and sports movements and allows users to create training templates and interval workouts through the Zepp App and directly on the watch. Advanced running functions include Track Run mode, smart trajectory correction, virtual pacer and HYROX Virtual Pace. The watch can also connect to compatible heart-rate belts, running power meters, cycling sensors and other workout peripherals. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro GPS and Navigation The T-Rex 3 Pro is designed for serious outdoor navigation. Its positioning system uses six satellite positioning systems and a circularly polarised GPS antenna to improve positioning performance in challenging environments. Unlike a basic fitness watch that relies primarily on phone navigation, the T-Rex 3 Pro supports offline maps, route planning, POI search, turn-by-turn navigation, round-trip routing and automatic rerouting. It also supports specialised navigation information such as contour maps and ski-resort maps. This makes it particularly useful for hiking, trekking, trail running and other activities where access to a phone or mobile network may be limited. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Flashlight A built-in two-color LED flashlight is one of the T-Rex 3 Pro’s distinguishing features. It can provide illumination when walking, camping, hiking or performing other activities in low-light conditions. The flashlight also includes a Boost Mode for situations where additional brightness is required. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Bluetooth Calling The T-Rex 3 Pro includes both a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing it to handle Bluetooth phone calls when paired with a compatible smartphone. The watch also supports voice interaction through Zepp Flow. Users can use voice commands to interact with supported watch functions, check information and perform selected actions without navigating through menus manually. Android users can also type message replies using the watch’s QWERTY keyboard or use speech-to-text functionality where supported. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Water Resistance and Diving The T-Rex 3 Pro has a 10 ATM water-resistance rating and is designed for swimming and water-based activities. Amazfit also lists support for 45m freediving and recreational scuba diving. This makes the Pro model particularly attractive to outdoor users who want a smartwatch that can be used both on land and in the water. Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Battery Life Battery endurance is one of the T-Rex 3 Pro’s strongest features. The larger 48mm model has a 700mAh battery, while the 44mm model has a 500mAh battery. 48mm Battery Life Typical use: Up to 25 days Heavy use: Up to 10 days Accurate GPS: Up to 38 hours Power-saving GPS: Up to 74 hours GPS Long Battery Life: Up to 85 hours GPS Max Battery Life: Up to 116 hours Low-temperature GPS: Up to 25 hours 44mm Battery Life Typical use: Up to 17 days Heavy use: Up to 8 days Accurate GPS: Up to 26 hours Power-saving GPS: Up to 51 hours GPS Long Battery Life: Up to 60 hours GPS Max Battery Life: Up to 86 hours Low-temperature GPS: Up to 14 hours Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Smart Features and Connectivity The smartwatch runs Zepp OS 5 and connects to smartphones through Bluetooth 5.2.
