BOYA BY-MM1+ Super-Cardioid Shotgun Microphone The kit includes the BOYA BY-MM1+ electret condenser shotgun microphone. Its super-cardioid polar pattern is designed to focus sound pickup toward the front of the microphone while reducing sound arriving from the sides and rear. This directional pickup pattern can help improve voice clarity when the microphone is positioned toward the person speaking. . 20Hz–18kHz Frequency Response The microphone has a stated frequency response of 20Hz–18kHz. This range supports the capture of speech and other common sounds used in video recording. For better results, position the microphone close enough to the speaker while keeping it outside the camera frame where possible. Shock Mount for Reduced Handling Noise The included Rycote Lyre shock mount helps isolate the microphone from some mechanical vibrations caused by handling, tripod movement and accidental bumps. This is useful when recording handheld videos or adjusting the recording setup. LED Video Light The BY-VG350 includes an LED light designed to provide additional illumination during video recording. The light is useful when filming indoors, in dim rooms or during situations where the subject needs additional lighting. The LED light has adjustable brightness controls and a rechargeable internal battery. Smartphone Clamp The included smartphone clamp holds a compatible smartphone in position for video recording. It can be used for landscape or portrait recording, making the kit suitable for conventional YouTube videos as well as vertical content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Mini Tripod, Ball Head and Extension Tube The mini tripod provides a base for desktop recording, interviews, tutorials and stationary videos. The ball head allows the mounted device to be tilted and rotated for different shooting angles. The extension tube can be adjusted from approximately 160mm to 250mm, allowing the recording setup to be raised when placed on a desk or another surface. When the tripod legs are folded, the setup can also be used as a handheld grip for suitable recording situations. TRS and TRRS Audio Cables The BY-VG350 includes connection cables for different recording devices. The TRRS cable is intended for compatible smartphones and other devices with the appropriate audio connection, while the TRS cable is designed for compatible cameras, camcorders and audio recording equipment. Furry Windscreen The included furry windscreen helps reduce the effect of wind hitting the microphone during outdoor recording. It is useful for vloggers, mobile journalists and creators who record outside. A windscreen can reduce wind noise, but it cannot guarantee clean audio in strong winds or heavily polluted sound environments. Portable All-in-One Design The BOYA BY-VG350 combines several video accessories into one kit. This makes it practical for creators who need a portable recording setup for home use, outdoor filming, interviews and business content.
