Hisense C2 Ultra 100 Inch 4K Projector

Hisense C2 Ultra 4K Laser Projector Price in Kenya & Full Review The Hisense C2 Ultra 4K Projector price in Kenya ranges between KSh 174,500 – KSh 205,000Price range: KSh 174,500 through KSh 205,000 . It is designed to turn different spaces into entertainment environments. Rather than being limited to a fixed television screen, it can project an image ranging from approximately 65 to 300 inches, allowing you to adjust the viewing experience to their room, wall or projection screen. Its RGB triple-laser light source, 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness, 4K pixel-shifted output, integrated JBL audio and flexible gimbal stand make it suitable for home cinema, gaming, streaming and occasional outdoor entertainment. The projector also includes automatic setup features that reduce the effort required to achieve a correctly aligned image. Project Almost Anywhere from 65 to 300 Inches The C2 Ultra supports projection sizes from approximately 65 to 300 inches. This gives users considerably more flexibility than a fixed-size television. You can use a smaller image for everyday viewing or expand the projection for movie nights, sports and gaming. The final image size depends on the distance from the projection surface, available space, lens settings and room conditions. A suitable screen or smooth wall will help achieve a more consistent picture. RGB Triple-Laser Colour Performance Hisense uses a dedicated RGB laser light source in the C2 Ultra. Red, green and blue laser components are designed to deliver vivid colour reproduction and a wide colour gamut. Hisense lists colour coverage of up to 110% of the BT.2020 colour space. This is a manufacturer claim and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every image or viewing mode will reproduce the entire BT.2020 standard. The wide colour gamut is particularly useful for HDR movies, animated content, nature documentaries and games with rich colour gradients. 3,000 ANSI Lumens Brightness The C2 Ultra is rated at 3,000 ANSI lumens. Its brightness is intended to produce a visible image in a range of indoor environments, including living rooms with moderate ambient lighting. Brightness alone does not guarantee strong picture quality in direct sunlight. For better contrast and darker blacks, use the projector in controlled lighting and select an appropriate projection surface. 4K UHD Picture with XPR Pixel Shifting The projector uses a 0.47-inch DLP imaging system with pixel-shifting technology to produce a 4K-style output of 3840 × 2160 pixels. It does not use a native 4K imaging chip containing 3840 × 2160 individually addressable mirrors. Hisense also includes 4K AI upscaling, which processes lower-resolution material to improve perceived sharpness and detail. Upscaling can enhance Full HD and other lower-resolution content, but it does not replace native 4K source material. 1.67× Optical Zoom The C2 Ultra includes a 1.67× optical zoom lens. Optical zoom allows users to change the projected image size without relying solely on moving the projector closer to or farther from the screen. This provides additional flexibility when arranging the projector in a living room, bedroom, entertainment area or temporary viewing setup. Optical zoom should not be confused with digital zoom, which can reduce the effective image area or alter image quality. Gimbal Stand for Flexible Positioning One of the C2 Ultra’s distinctive design features is its integrated gimbal stand. The projector supports approximately 360° horizontal rotation and 135° vertical adjustment. This allows projection onto walls, screens, floors and ceilings, depending on the setup. The adjustable design is useful for users who want to change viewing locations without installing a permanent ceiling mount. Automatic Image Setup The C2 Ultra includes automatic setup features such as autofocus, auto keystone correction and obstacle avoidance. These functions are designed to help the projector adjust the image when its position or projection environment changes. Automatic correction improves convenience, but it may reduce the usable image area or introduce processing adjustments. For the best results, position the projector as squarely as possible toward the projection surface. Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced The projector supports major HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports IMAX Enhanced content. HDR-compatible content can provide brighter highlights, more detailed shadows and richer colour reproduction. Results depend on the source device, room lighting, image mode and the projector’s tone-mapping performance. Gaming at Up to 240Hz The C2 Ultra includes gaming-oriented features such as ALLM, VRR and support for high-refresh-rate gaming on compatible inputs. Regional specifications and reviews identify support for up to 240Hz in supported gaming modes. High-refresh-rate operation depends on the input resolution, connected device, HDMI configuration and selected mode. The projector is also marketed with Designed for Xbox certification, making it relevant for compatible Xbox gaming setups. Users should distinguish the maximum supported gaming refresh rate from 4K gaming performance. The projector does not necessarily deliver native 4K at 240Hz. JBL 2.1-Channel Sound System The C2 Ultra features a built-in 40W 2.1-channel JBL-tuned audio system with an integrated subwoofer. This provides a more complete audio solution than projectors that rely on small basic speakers. The built-in sound system is suitable for everyday movies, streaming and gaming. Users who want stronger low-frequency effects or a wider soundstage can connect an external soundbar or home theatre system. VIDAA Smart Platform and Netflix The C2 Ultra uses the VIDAA smart platform in supported regional versions and includes official Netflix integration. It also supports other streaming applications, subject to regional availability and software support. Long-Life RGB Laser Engine The C2 Ultra’s laser light source is rated for more than 25,000 hours of operation. Unlike traditional lamp projectors, it does not require regular replacement of a conventional projection bulb. The actual operating life and brightness retention depend on usage, operating temperature, selected brightness mode and maintenance conditions.
