iPhone 18 Pro Price in Kenya & Full Review The Apple iPhone 18 Pro price in Kenya ranges between KSh 220,000 – KSh 260,000Price range: KSh 220,000 through KSh 260,000 . It features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, a A20 Pro processor, advanced 48MP Pro Fusion cameras and improved battery life in a more compact body than the iPhone 18 Pro Max. .The biggest camera change is the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. The aperture can automatically or manually move between ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 and ƒ/4.0, giving the photographer greater control over light and depth of field. Design and Display 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED Display The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2622 × 1206 pixels at 460 pixels per inch. The screen supports ProMotion with adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz, providing smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming. ProMotion Up to 120Hz ProMotion dynamically adjusts the display refresh rate according to the content being displayed. High refresh rates can be used for smooth scrolling and gaming, while lower refresh rates can reduce power consumption when high refresh rates are unnecessary. High Brightness and HDR The display provides 1,000 nits typical brightness, 1,600 nits peak HDR brightness and up to 3,000 nits peak outdoor brightness. It also supports HDR, True Tone, P3 wide colour and a typical 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Always-On Display and Dynamic Island The iPhone 18 Pro includes an Always-On display and Dynamic Island. Apple has made the Dynamic Island smaller while allowing it to display up to three Live Activities simultaneously. Ceramic Shield 2 and IP68 Protection The phone uses an aluminum unibody design with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back. It has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, with Apple specifying testing at depths of up to 6 metres for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529. A20 Pro Performance 2nm A20 Pro Chip The iPhone 18 Pro is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro, manufactured using 2nm process technology. The chip has a 6-core CPU consisting of two super cores and four efficiency cores, alongside a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. It also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Apple says the A20 Pro provides significant performance gains over the previous generation, while its increased memory bandwidth and integrated Neural Accelerators help with demanding games, computational photography and on-device AI workloads. Next-Generation Vapor Chamber The iPhone 18 Pro uses a redesigned vapor chamber to control heat during demanding workloads. Apple says the new thermal system has three times the surface area of the previous design and can deliver up to 40% better sustained performance than iPhone 17 Pro. This is particularly relevant when running demanding games, recording high-resolution video or performing intensive AI tasks for extended periods. 48MP Pro Fusion Camera System 48MP Fusion Main Camera with Variable Aperture The primary camera is a 48MP Fusion Main camera with a variable aperture ranging from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0. It uses second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilisation and 100% Focus Pixels. It can capture 24MP and 48MP high-resolution photographs. The variable aperture is one of the defining features of the iPhone 18 Pro camera system. A wider aperture can allow more light into the camera and produce a shallower depth of field, while narrower apertures can increase the depth of field. Apple also provides manual aperture controls through the Camera app’s Pro controls. 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide Camera The 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera has a 13mm equivalent focal length, ƒ/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view. It supports 24MP and 48MP high-resolution photography and 48MP macro photography. The ultra-wide camera is useful for landscapes, architecture, group photographs and situations where you need to capture a wider scene without physically moving farther away. 48MP Fusion Telephoto Camera The telephoto camera uses a 48MP Fusion Telephoto sensor with a 100mm equivalent focal length and ƒ/2.8 aperture. It provides 4x optical telephoto and an optical-quality 8x telephoto view equivalent to 200mm. The system uses a tetraprism design, autofocus and 3D sensor-shift optical image stabilisation. The complete camera system provides an 8x optical-quality zoom-in, 2x optical zoom-out and 16x optical-quality zoom range, while digital zoom can reach up to 40x for photographs. Professional Camera Controls The Camera app provides dedicated Pro controls for aperture, shutter speed, white balance and histogram viewing. This gives photographers more direct control over exposure and image capture than automatic shooting modes alone. 18MP Center Stage Front Camera The front camera is an 18MP Center Stage camera with an ƒ/1.9 aperture and autofocus with Focus Pixels. It supports Center Stage for photos and video calls, tap-to-zoom and rotate, Dual Capture and ultra-stabilised video. Professional Video Recording The iPhone 18 Pro can record 4K Dolby Vision video at up to 120fps. Cinematic mode supports up to 4K Dolby Vision at 30fps, while ProRes recording can reach up to 4K at 60fps when recording externally. The phone also supports ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, Academy Color Encoding System, spatial video, Dual Capture and 4K Dolby Vision time-lapse. These features make the iPhone 18 Pro suitable for users who need advanced mobile video-production capabilities. Battery Life Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro for up to 24 hours of typical use, 36 hours of video playback and 33 hours of streamed video playback. Actual battery life depends on network conditions, brightness, applications and other usage factors. Fast Charging Using a compatible 60W-capable power adapter or higher with Adjustable Voltage Supply and the USB-C cable, Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro for up to 50% charge in approximately 15 minutes. With a compatible 35W or higher adapter and MagSafe Charger, it can reach up to 50% in approximately 30 minutes. USB-C, MagSafe and Qi2 Charging The iPhone 18 Pro uses USB-C for charging and wired connectivity. Its USB-C port supports DisplayPort and USB 3 data transfer at up to 10Gb/s, which is useful when transferring large professional video files to compatible computers or external storage. Wireless charging supports MagSafe up to 25W and Qi2 up to 25W. 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 The iPhone 18 Pro supports 5G, Gigabit LTE, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. It also includes Apple’s N1 wireless networking chip, second-generation Ultra Wideband technology, Thread networking and the Apple C2 cellular modem. The iPhone 18 Pro supports a broad range of 4G and 5G bands, including bands relevant to international markets. Apple C2 Modem The iPhone 18 Pro uses Apple’s C2 cellular modem. Apple designed the C2 to improve cellular performance and power efficiency compared with the previous-generation modem. The exact cellular bands supported depend on the regional model. Apple Intelligence and Siri AI The iPhone 18 Pro runs iOS 27 and supports the next generation of Apple Intelligence. Apple’s new Siri AI provides a more conversational experience with features including personal context and onscreen awareness. Availability of individual AI features depends on language, region and Apple’s rollout schedule. The A20 Pro’s Neural Engine and Neural Accelerators are designed to handle supported AI workloads on the device, including computational photography and Apple Intelligence features.
